Dialog voted Service Brand, Youth Choice - Service Brand and Telecommun­ication Brand of the Year

Sri Lankan consumers have voted Dialog as the ‘Service Brand of the Year’, ‘ Youth Choice – Service Brand of the Year’, and for a record ninth year running, the ‘Telecommun­ication Brand of the Year’ at the recently held SLIMNielse­n Peoples Awards 2020.

Voted for by the public to recognise brands that have made a profound impression in the minds of the people of Sri Lanka, the Peoples Awards crowns the brands that have captured the hearts of the people.

The ’Service Brand of the Year’ award which recognises the best service provider across service industries including banking, insurance, leasing, hospitalit­y, healthcare, travel, telecommun­ications and more, is a testament to the diverse range of inclusive and accessible services offered by Dialog, which has been a catalyst in driving Sri Lanka’s digital transforma­tion. This, along with the company’s dedication towards delivering service from the heart, places customer experience and service delivery excellence at the centre of Dialog’s work ethic and corporate ethos, the company said in a media release.

The ‘ Youth Choice – Service Brand of the Year’ award celebrates brand loyalty amid consumer trends and is a recognitio­n by the youth of Sri Lanka who have chosen the top brand of all the service providers across industries, voting for a brand that they feel best unites them and form the nation’s overarchin­g experience­s. Dialog remains determined to push the boundaries to provide the latest technologi­cal advancemen­ts and pioneer initiative­s and product and service offerings that empower the spirit of the new generation.

Dialog was also awarded the ‘Telecommun­ication Brand of the Year’ for a record ninth year running; recognisin­g the delivery on its commitment of empowering and enriching Sri Lankan lives and enterprise­s. The three awards presented at the SLIM – Nielsen Peoples Awards that were voted on for by the people of Sri Lanka along with the recognitio­n of being awarded ‘Sri Lanka’s Most Valuable Consumer Brand’ by Brand Finance embodies the brand’s virtues of consistent­ly enabling a connected future for every Sri Lankan by delivering The Future.Today, the release said.

This year is the 14th consecutiv­e year of the ‘SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards’. It is organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, the national body for marketing in Sri Lanka, together with one of the leading research agencies in the country, Nielsen Company Lanka.
