Triad celebrates golden era, taking home the highest number of Golds at Epica Awards

-

Triad, Sri Lanka’s leading integrated communication company, once again made its presence felt at the recently concluded inaugural international Epica Awards Sri Lanka. The agency’s track record of consistently creating benchmark communication solutions based on homegrown insights and strategies proved to be award-worthy as Triad walked away with the highest number of Gold metal, with eight coveted awards in total.

Recognized as a big winner of the night, the‘ Life Chant’ campaign, which addressed an issue that has affected the Sri Lankan lives for years, used the unconventional medium of chants written and recited by Buddhist monks to educate the public about dengue mosquito breeding. The campaign won 2 Gold awards in the Public Interest Health & Safety and Consumer Direct categories, 2 Silver awards in Radio Advertising and Media Innovation – Alternative Media categories, and 1 Bronze award for the best use of sound.

‘Inherit his name, inherit his way’, yet another campaign displaying a social cause through the intention of reducing water wastage by educating Muslims on reducing water consumption during ablution (a ritual cleansing that all Muslims partake in 5 times a day).

This novel approach to water conservation bagged 2 Gold awards under the Public Interest Environmental and Product Design categories. Additionally, Triad’s aptly named ‘ Larger than

Life’launch campaign for Sri Lanka’s largest international shopping mall, One Galle Face Mall, secured a Bronze award under the Experiential & Shopper Marketing category.
