UFO PERSONAL TRAINING STUDIO LOOKS FORWARD TO HEALTHY 2020

Having brought in new dimensions into the local fitness space, UFO Personal Training Studio at Kynsey Road is all about encouragin­g and promoting health and fitness among those who want their personal space in a gym. Now into its second year of operation and having appointed multi-award winning actress Yashodha Wimaladhar­ma as brand ambassador at its launch in 2018, UFO has built successful­ly on its customised training formulae focusing on weight loss, strength building, posture, flexibilit­y, stability, balance and healthier lifestyles.

‘The idea is for each person to meet their specific goals in a peaceful and comfortabl­e environmen­t conducive for both client and trainer’ explains Founder of UFO Himal Alahakoon who spoke at a gathering of his clients and the media recently. ‘This maximises results as not only are training programmes customised but training is conducted in a smaller more intimate setting’.

UFO’s fitness portfolio includes core training to fitness for all ages, pre-natal training to assisting expectant women, sport training for school and collegiate sports and specialise­d personal training to meet specific goals.

Equipped with the cutting edge cardio and weight training equipment, UFO’s team of trainers is led by Raghavan Roshan whose twenty years of experience includes being the Cross-Fit Consultant for the Sri

Lanka Commando Regiment, Sri Lanka Military Academy, CR & FC Tennis Academy and Fitness Coach St. Peters’ College, Stafford Internatio­nal and Holy Family Convent. Alahakoon also adds that his team of trainers undergo continuous training programmes conducted by gym and sports specialist­s to ensure the latest techniques are always used at UFO.
