Drake secures a double on the UK singles chart

Drake secured a double on the UK singles chart as his song ‘Toosie Slide’ topped the singles chart while his new album ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’ topped the albums chart simultaneously. ‘Toosie Slide’ had difficulty on the charts owing to of the Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’ and the charity tracks by Michael Ball & Col. Tom More and the Live Lounge All Stars. However after five weeks on the chart ‘Toosie Slide’ overcame them all with chart sales of 49,000. Drake has co penned the trap track with Ozam Yildrim who is also producer of the song under the name OZ. ‘Toosie Slide’ is Drake’s 6th UK No: 1 song. In addition it’s the third time he has been at the top of both the singles and albums chart simultaneously.
