Alternativ­e income during a pandemic

Due to the impact of the coronaviru­s pandemic on the economy, many people have to face the challenge of reduced income or no income at all. Business establishm­ents are trying to adjust to the situation, and many of those affected are finding ways to raise their income.

Some of them are currently employing alternativ­e solutions to overcome their financial issues - alternativ­e business ventures such as selling food or other products. There are more than a few people who are facing difficulti­es in paying their vehicle leases, and others have been temporaril­y laid off their jobs.

As the photos show, certain people use their private vehicles to carry out business in Colombo and its suburbs.
