Police give lessons on wearing masks

An awareness programme was held at the Police Field Headquarters in Colombo yesterday for nearly 500 persons who were found not wearing face masks in public places. Under the programme, held under the patronage of Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) Deshabandu Tennakoon, officials explained the importance of wearing face masks and engaging in good personal hygiene habits due to the risk posed by COVID-19.
