It is one of the top ranked State Universities in the South of the US and Horizon Campus is extremely proud to have the opportunity of partnering with an institution with such credentials, particularly as this keeps with its mission of “…. educates leaders, enhances intellectual growth, and enriches lives…” For further details please visit www.astate.edu

Horizon Campus is extremely proud to note that it has successfully negotiated with the Arkansas State Unive r s i t y, to of f e r the Biotechnology degree programmes at the lowest possible cost for an equivalent degree available within the Sri Lanka education market.

The significance of the cost factor is emphasised by the fact that the tuition fees offered through Horizon Campus corresponds to a total reduction of up to approximately 50% of the cost that would be incurred, if one was to study for a similar degree in the United States for a 4 year period.

This we believe emphasizes the vision and mission of both Arkansas State University and Horizon Campus, in offering affordable opportunities for students who wish to study for the degree of their choice.

Students will commence their degree programme at Horizon campus for the first 2 years and provided they successfully maintain the expected GPA averages for the 2 year period, will be provided a credit transfer by Astate to complete the final 2 years of the degree in the US.

Furthermore, students who fulfill the set guidelines for academic achievement will also be eligible for a $3000 scholarship awarded by the University, per year.

This we believe is an added advantage for students who wish to read for a highly recognized US degree programme. Furthermore, students who wish to read for a Medicine degree in the US, could complete the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) once they complete the Biotechnology, which will provide them with the opportunity to read for a MD degree in either the United States or Canada.
