-

Built on delivering innovation and strategic leadership, Bristol Institute of Business Management, throughout its two years of educating Sri Lanka’s professional community and aspiring high achievers, has maintained the highest standards, discipline and commitment to quality in education that has resulted in the institute securing a partnership with the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE Bristol), which is currently ranked 21 in the UK Guardian university league tables.

Another notable achievement is that commencing from it’s first intake just one year ago in January 2019 for the UWE MBA program, Bristol institute has had six successful MBA batches passing out with high scores at each intake, with an accumulated population of 250 MBA students up to date.

Having gathered a huge demand in the industry for the MBA, Bristol Institute is currently in its

7th intake for this qualification.“We’ve disrupted our own industry and the market has responded by rewarding us with demand and growth far beyond what we would have predicted,” commented Bristol Institute‘s Chief Operating Officer M.J.M. Dilshad.

As such, Bristol Institute has today been instrumental in having trained some of the country’s top young business professionals in leveraging their knowledge and work experience to bring them to the next level in their careers.

Citing the reasons behind this success Dilshad explained “We are first and foremost entrepreneurial by nature and are a community of passionate educators that comprise of a distinguished faculty of lecturers consisting of PhD Holders, researchers, highly experienced professionals and industry experts, who offer unparalleled learning experiences. Our MBA delivers realworld learning and equips participants with the skills and techniques to develop executive-level strategy, organize for innovation, assess opportunities, manage risk and create and capture value for their organizations, all of which has resulted in the MBA being highly respected and sought after by many employers".

Dilshad further explained that the learning process is globally recognized making it ideal for students who hope to explore overseas job opportunities, or even continue their academic study overseas with transferable points and credits.

He added “Partnering with UWE Bristol has always been a badge of honour for our institute and the university being ranked 21st in the Guardian League Table means a lot to us, because it reinforces our commitment to quality and relevance in the education sphere. This gives a privilege for our students because when they register with us for a programme, they also register with UWE Bristol as internal students.

Bristol incidentally is currently the highest ranked UK University to offer an MBA in Sri Lanka, and hence arguably the best UK Qualification that any corporate professional can hope to attain, while studying as a full time student in Sri Lanka.

Being slated as an MBA program that prepares young professionals to be the next generation of leaders ready to lead organizations that set the pace of progress in the current pandemic era, the popularity of the MBA program has continued to gather momentum, resulting in high student numbers for each intake. Due to the growing demand of the qualification, Bristol institute has opened registrations for their 7th intake due to commence in January 2021.
