Awards 2020, held on the 29th March 2021. CDB is being recognized with the award for the fourth time, three of which were consecutiv­ely won from 2018 - 2020, for its unwavering commitment to sustainabl­e business practices across all discipline­s over a long period of time, and for integratin­g sustainabi­lity as a performanc­e benchmark.

The Best Corporate Citizen Sustainabi­lity Award is presented by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the nation’s premier business chamber; to recognize and reward local corporate entities for efforts made in sustainabi­lity and implementa­tion, on new initiative­s and improvemen­ts to existing activities carried out during the financial year in considerat­ion. The impact and implicatio­ns of these initiative­s on Environmen­tal, Social, Economic and Compliance factors are evaluated by an eminent multi-disciplina­ry panel in several stages prior to announcing the winners.
