At No: 1 spot

‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ by Lil Nas X has clocked up a second week at the No: 1 spot on the UK singles chart. The song had 62,000 chart sales including 8.6 million streams. Early in the week Nathan Evans ‘ Wellerman’ was leading the battle to re-take the No: 1 position. But later Justin Bieber’s ‘Peaches’ featuring Daniel Caesar & Giveon became the contenders. Eventually ‘Montero’ prevailed with ‘ Wellerman’ falling from 2 to No: 3 and ‘Peaches’ rising from 3 to No: 2. Lil Nas X has co-written his chart topping song under his actual name Montero Hill with Denzil Baptisete, David Biral, Omar Fedi and Roy Lenzo. The latter four are also producers of the hit song.
