The Salesforce Company was rated the sixth-best company to work for in 2020, making Salesforce a highly sought-after addition to one’s portfolio. In addition, it is projected that by 2024, there will be 4.2 million jobs available in the Salesforce domain; thus APIIT’s Salesforce programme opens several career opportunities for its hopeful participants, providing them with a well- rounded introduction to the domain and training in Salesforce development.

Speaking on the programme, he said, “It was a great workshop. The majority of the participants were fresh graduates from all most all the universities in Sri Lanka. There were several international participants as well. A considerable number of participants who are currently working in the industry also joined this training. It was really great to work with such a diverse set of participants who were very enthusiastic to learn Salesforce.”

Wiley Sri Lanka was closely involved in the preparing and reviewing of the programme’s content. Selected candidates of the programme were also offered job opportunities at Wiley Sri Lanka upon completion of their training.

Speaking on his experience during the programme, Wiley Associate S o f t w a re Engineer Pubudu Palihakkara said, “Coming from a QA background, the training conducted by Nipunu Wijesinghe was my introduction to Salesforce Development. He delivered the content in a very engaging way, inspiring me to learn more about Salesforce. The training sketches a road map for newcomers to follow when starting to learn about Salesforce, and it helped me tremendously to change tracks from QA to Salesforce development.”
