Peradeniya University set to sign MoU with top university in Vietnam

The University of Peradeniya and Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in Vietnam have discussed future collaborations and academics at the faculties of management studies in both universities are set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) soon.

Last week, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Vietnam facilitated a virtual meeting between the academics of the faculties of management studies at the University of Peradeniya and TDTU.

Academics of both universities shared views and exchanged ideas on possible future collaborations between students through academic exchanges, collaborative research, participation in international conferences, short study visits for post graduate students and the offering of short online academic programmes, a Foreign Ministry official said.

The academics agreed to sign an MoU to consolidate and formalise these activities, and to initiate immediate action on the identified areas for cooperation, the official added.
