Animal Habitats

-

An animal habitat is a place where a certain type of animal species lives. They have adapted the three basic needs to live which are air, water and food. The habitat provides shelter and space for the animals.

There are different habitats in this climate and other factors. For example, hot deserts, mountains, rivers, lakes, rainforests, burrows, marshy lands and cold deserts like in Antarctica, which are home to various types of unusual creatures.

There are bacteria living below the ice of Antarctica and also in the Mariana Trench, which is the deepest place in the ocean and on Earth.

According to current information, Kampecaris obanensis, who is considered as the oldest land animal to live on land, lived near a lake in a semi-arid forest environment.

The Dodo bird, which is an bird, lived in Mauritius which is an island in the Indian Ocean close to Africa.

Saolas, who are considered as an endangered species, only live in the Annamite mountains of Vietnam and Laos.

The habitat of wombats

(an endangered species) is the temperate forest-covered areas of southwestern Australia.

Giant pandas who are also considered as an endangered species live in temperate forests high in the mountains of south-west China.

Considering the above facts, we can conclude that there are numerous kinds of animal habitats and we should make it our duty and responsibility to protect them.
