A tree of hope and love
It’s Christmas time in the city and the Park
Street Mews and its eight resident restaurants came together to usher in a little sparkle with the lighting of their Christmas tree, an eight-panelled geometric installation of fibreglass and batik.
“We are so happy that the crux of our theme revolves around an art form such as batik, an industry that supports local artisans and their livelihoods across the island, Tasneem Moosajee, developer of Park Street Mews said. “Gratefulness overshadows the sparkle this year, as we have come to understand more deeply the value of love and the joy of companionship. This Christmas, we want to bring back hope, laughter and joy …and invite you to celebrate the little things and not forget those who have been less fortunate than us,” she added. Monsoon, Chambers, Kuuraku, Park Street Trattoria, Café Français by Pourcel, the Mews Restaurant, Curve Bar, and Butter Boutique will host a curated series of gastronomical offerings for the season.
