Ambassador Hideaki said the MoU between universities of both countries can be updated by signing a new MoU. He also said it was important to maintain connections with information technology divisions, in both countries.

The Education Minister commended the Japanese government for providing jobs for Sri Lankans who are fluent in the Japanese language.
