Saegis Campus offers MOE approved degrees under Interest Free Student Loan Scheme
Saegis Campus, considered as one of the leading higher education institutions situated at the heart of Colombo, now offers various Ministry of Education approved undergraduate degrees under the Interest Free Student Loan (IFSL) scheme introduced by the Sri Lankan Government.
This initiative comes in view of uplifting the country’s transformation as a key knowledge hub in the region and increase accessibility to enable one in pursuing their desired field of study.
Students who have successfully completed their Advanced Level examination in the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 are eligible to apply for these UGC recognised, Ministry of Education (MOE) approved programmes.
This is also a great alternative opportunity for those who are unable to enrol into state universities.
The degree programmes offered under this scheme are Bachelor of Business Management (Hons), including specialisations in Marketing, Human Resources Management and Accounting & Finance, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of
Science Honours (BSc (Hons)) with specializations in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Information Technology, and Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT). All of these programmes provide industrial training as part of its curriculum.
The counsellors at Saegis Campus will guide and support students in their applications for these programmes under the scheme.
The MOE’s web portal for applications opens from the 21st of December 2021 to 31st of January 2022, followed by MOE officials interviewing candidates from February to March 2022. The academic year for IFSL 6th Intake commences in April 2022.
