‘The 355’ A mission to avert the World War III

Hollywood thriller film ‘ The 355’, a story on spy mission directed by Simon Kinberg is now being screened in theatres around the country.

When a top- secret weapon falls into mercenary hands, a wild card CIA agent joins forces with three international agents on a lethal mission to retrieve it, while staying a step ahead of a mysterious woman who’s tracking their every move.

CIA agent Mason “Mace” Brown joins forces with a rival German agent, a cutting- edge computer specialist and a Colombian psychologist when a top- secret weapon falls into the hands of a group of mercenaries. Together, the four women embark on a breakneck mission to save the world while staying one step ahead of a mysterious figure who’s tracking their every move.

From a screenplay by Theresa Rebeck and Kinberg, and a story by Rebeck, ‘ The 355’ stars Jessica Chastain, Penélope Cruz, Fan Bingbing, Diane Kruger, and LupitaNyong’o as a group of international spies who must work together to stop a terrorist organization from starting World War III. Among the other stars are ÉdgarRamírez and Sebastian Stan.

The film tittle was from Agent 355, the codename of a female spy for the Patriots during the American Revolution. Project announced in May 2018, and distribution rights were acquired by Universal Pictures at the 71st Cannes Film Festival, the filming took place in Paris, Morocco, and London.

The film is now being screened at Liberty by Scope Cinemas, Colombo City Center, PVR Colombo 2, KCCKandy City Center, Majestic Superior Cinema, RegalDematagoda, Savoy 3D, Milano-Kegalle, NIT-Ratnapura and NIT-Kuranegala.
