Sophocles’ Oedipus at Wendt

The Sinhala version of Athenian tragedy by Sophocles ‘Oedipus’, an translated by Ariyawansha Ranaweera and directed by award winning young dramast Akila Sapumalge will go on the boards at 3.30 p. m. and 7.00 p. m. on February 12 at Lionel Wendt Theatre Colombo 07.

Oedipus is prescribed text for number of syllabi at different levels. It is included in the G.C.E. A/L and University courses.

Performed by leading professional artistes the music composition is by Heshan Kuruppu.
