Tame draw at Katugastota

The traditional Under-19 Inter-School cricket encounter between St. Anthony’s College and Isipathana College ended in a tame draw at Katugastota yesterday. The Antonians declared after piling up 381 for 4 in their first innings with the help of a fine unbeaten century by skipper Chamindu Wickremasinghe (117) and half centuries by Mohamed Aaqil (86), Asitha Wanninanayke (63), Kavindu Shehan (52).

In response Isipathana were 75 for 4 at close of play. Majority of the first day saw heavy rain in resulting in a delayed start.
