People’s Bank ‘Industry 2022’ exhibition stall draws large crowds

People’s Bank participat­ed in the ‘ Industry 2022’ National Industrial Exhibition that was held recently at the Bandaranai­ke Memorial Internatio­nal Conference Hall (BMICH) with the bank’s stall drawing large crowds during all 3 days of the event.

Visitors to the stall were educated about the various loans schemes that the People’s Bank has on offer for Small and Medium- sized Enterprise­s ( SMEs). The bank’s Digital Banking representa­tives created awareness about state- of- the- art digital banking services offered by People’s Bank. Additional­ly, they could also sign up for People’s Credit Card, which provides them with the opportunit­y to enjoy special discounts from merchants islandwide.

Organised by the Sri Lanka Industrial Developmen­t Board under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry, the exhibition featured 300 stalls representi­ng the top 20 industries in the country.

The exhibition was organised with the aim of empowering domestic manufactur­ers and to provide them with local and foreign investment opportunit­ies, create new market opportunit­ies, and educate them on how to overcome market, technical and capital challenges they face. People’s Bank participat­ed in the exhibition supporting these domestic manufactur­ers by providing them with financial solutions and advice.
