Non-medical professional selected for postgrad course at UoC’s Faulty of Medicine

Maruthai Ravindhiran has been selected by the University of Colombo’s Faculty of Medicine to follow the Postgraduate Diploma in Gender and Health (PgDipGH) for the academic year 2022/23 and the Postgraduate Institute of Management at the Sri Jayewardenepura University to follow the Master in Business Administration (MBA) programme.

It is a unique achievement by a nonmedical professional to be admitted to the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Colombo.

Mr Ravindhiran is a professional marketer and consultant in training and development. He is also an inspirational business consultant and a specialist in professional communication skills.

He is a former student of St. Joseph’s College in Colombo 10.

He was the former chairman and editor-in-chief of the Blue & White Newsletter committee, a member of the editorial board of Blue and White Centenary and the Millennium Magazine committee, a former member of the Association of Josephian Blues and the founder president of Josephian Group of 88’.

He hails from Modera in Colombo 15 and is the eldest son of the late.
