Lanerolle steamrolls to win India Cup

One of the top class golfers now based in Australia, Manjula Lanerolle, was in top form at the India Cup Golf 2022 as he claimed the win of the main event at the Royal Colombo Golf Course (RCGC). Lanerolle was on a short holiday in Sri Lanka, yet showed great form at this event which he took part amidst the vacation.

On count back, Ramesh Carvalho won the second place with the former S. Thomas' cricketer, Ken de Alwis being pushed to third place. In the Ladies event Manori Jayakody won the main title while R. Sangani emerged runner-up.

More than 50 golfers teed off in this year's event which was hosted with a colourful prize giving ceremony in the same evening at the RCGC.
