Snoop Dogg acquired Death Row Records

Rap star Snoop Dogg has acquires Death Row Records. Snoop whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr. took control of the label from MNRK Music Group. The label which was founded in 1992 folded in 2006. Several entities controlled the label between 2009 until the recent change of ownership.

Meanwhile Snoop and Kelly Clarkson have been signed up to host the American Song Contest which is due to commence on March 21 with the final onMay 9. The contest which is inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest will have artists competing from all 50 States, territories and the US capital.
