“The Newspaper” competes at Bengaluru film Fest
“The Newspaper”, directed by two actors Sarath Kothalawela and Kumara Thirimadura is competed at the ongoing 13 Bengaluru International Film Festival. The film is in the Asian Cinema Competition, the main competition section of the festival held from March 3 to 10 in Bengaluru in India.
‘The Newspaper’ will be competing along with 28 films from China, Japan, Iran, India and Philippine for the Best Asian film.
This year is special to the festival as International
Federation of Film Producers Association, (FIAPF) has given accreditation to BIFFes. It marks as the 46th festival in the world to receive this recognition.
Graced by delegates, eminent filmmakers, celebrities and other dignitaries, the festival was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri Basavaraj Bommai
