33rd annual general meeting of the alumni association of the University of Peradeniya (AAUP)

The 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya (AAUP) will be held on Sunday the 27th of March 2022 at 9.00 am.

The AGM will be a hybrid event due to the present health situation in the country. The meeting will be held virtually through ZOOM and in person with a limited number of participants, at the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya.

The Chief Guest on the occasion will be Emeritus Professor M. P. Ranaweera, a former Professor of Civil Engineering and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. Prof. M. D. Lamawansa, the Vice-Chancellor and the VicePatron of the AAUP will also grace the occasion.

Emeritus Professor K. N. O Dharmadasa, a former Professor of Sinhala and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and one of the pioneers of linguistics in Sri Lanka, will be felicitated for his contribution to the University community.
