Kegalu Vidyalaya celebrates Cadet Day 2022

Kegalu Vidyalaya celebrated the Cadets Day 2022 with many activities lined up to dish out an active day full of events at the school grounds in Kegalle. The school from the Sabaragamuwa province, which was established in 1942, has contributed 37 Army officials, 15 Naval officials, six Air Force officials and 14 Police officials, with many of them still serving the country with great dignity.

The school's principal, Nimal Weerasinghe, elaborating on the importance of extra-curricular activities such as sports, scouting and cadetting, which plays a huge role in building the character of schoolchildren from a very young age. Mr. Weerasinghe stated that Kegalu Vidyalaya has contributed to its students immensely as in return they have made the country proud as well-mannered and disciplined citizens.
