Heartfelt thanks to police and CERT

My Facebook account was hacked by some anonymous person. I got a mail from Facebook that the password and email had been changed. I tried the security steps but failed to log in.

I contacted Sri Lanka CERT (Computer

Emergency Readiness Team) and they sent me some steps to recover my account. I also got in touch with the social media division of Sri Lankan Police. The Police social media division is required to submit the details.

After one week I received my Facebook account safely. Since I’m working in digital marketing, Facebook is the major platform for my work. My heartfelt thanks to Sri Lanka Police and Sri Lanka CERT.
