The 17’ Raigam Tele’es 2020-2021 -“Dewasaraka Rasa” Nomination Evening

The 17th Raigam Tele’es Nomination Evening was held on the 25th of February 2022 at Waters Edge Hotel Colombo. The Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Senior Professor Sampat h Amarathunga attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Raigam Tele’es 17th encounter is a combined event for the years 2020 & 2021 and 225 nominees were announced at the event covering all aspects of television performance.

The event was compered by Thisanka Gamage and Purnika Peiris. The main sponsor for the Raigam Tele’es Nomination Evening was SLT Mobitel. The main event is to be held on 26th March 2022 with the Partnership of Sampath Bank. The event will commence at 5.00pm at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo. Co- sponsors are; Allianz Insurance Limited, Aarya Sanitary napkins, and Imagine Entertainment.

The Famous Actress award and the Best Actress award winner of year 2019; Shalini Tharaka officially declared the opening of SMS voting for 2022 and voting can be done through the mobile app.
