Sri Lanka Technological Campus the Platinum partner at EDEX Hybrid Expo 2022; Sri Lanka’s largest Higher Education and Career Exhibition

-

Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC) has collaborated with EDEX Hybrid Expo 2022 as the Platinum Sponsor for the consecutive third time this year. EDEX Expo is the largest higher education and career exhibition held in Sri Lanka which opens up thousands of opportunities for the young generation in achieving their dreams. In collaboration with EDEX Expo, SLTC will be guiding students, parents, as well as the educators on the right path in pursuing higher education and careers. EDEX Expo is annually organised by the Royal College Union. This year the event will be held as a hybrid event on March 26 and 27 at Royal MAS Arena in Rajakeeya Mawatatha Colombo 7 and through the Edex Virtual platform https://registration.edex.lk.

SLTC as Sri Lanka’s first corporate backed research based residential university, will be showcasing its impressive growth over the past few years and extending the opportunity for more students to join the university at the event. Started as a predominantly engineering and technology- focused educational institute, SLTC has now expanded its scope into Technology, Business, Information Technology, and Music. In order to further make the university resources accessible to the students, “SLTC 24/7 - An Around the Clock Working, Breathing, Living University” initiative was introduced that gives its students access to university resources at any time of the day. Due to its consistent growth and achievements as a university, SLTC was awarded the ‘Most Emerging Education Institute in South Asia’ accolade at South Asian Business Excellence Awards 2019 and ‘ Top Ten Winner Best Management Practices Company Awards 2022’ accolade at Business in the new normal awards 2022 organized by The CPM Sri Lanka.

The international reach of SLTC has also been expanded with them opening its doors to international students for the March 2022 intake. Recently, SLTC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Higher Education Ministry of Maldives. This marked an important milestone for the non-state educational industry in Sri Lanka since it is for the first time in history that the Maldivian Higher Education Ministry has endorsed a non- state university in Sri Lanka as a recognised higher education provider to the Maldivian student community. SLTC offered scholarships to deserving students nominated by the Higher Education Ministry of Maldives, to complete their degrees in Sri Lanka.

The Entech Youth Excellence Scholarship programme by SLTC ensures high performing students across the country that their financial difficulties do not restrict access to a world-class education. It is the only merit- based scholarship scheme in Sri Lanka that considers the results of the G.C.E. A/L exam. SLTC has opened an attractive pathway for young achievers to conquer the future through this programme.

Located in 37 acres of serene greenery SLTC sets the ideal surrounding for the students to encounter true university experience. The qualitative academia by a qualified academic panel, modern university facilities including student residences, cafeteria, library, laboratories, amphitheater, sports complexes and gymnasiums enables the students to gain maximum out of their university life. All extracurricular student engagement initiatives at SLTC will ensure students turn out to be ‘complete’, ‘ well- rounded’ men and women, ready to unleash their full professional and personal potential to conquer the world.

We warmly invite you to join the fastest growing university in South Asia to gain a true university experience.
