Title of next album

The name of Ed Sheeran’s tour which commenced on March 21 in London confirms the title of his next album as ‘-‘(Subtraction). His tour is called the + - = ÷ Tour or Mathematical Tour. His current album ‘=’ (Equal) was released last October.

Five of the six albums Ed has released have mathematical symbols as titles. Speaking to the Carrie & Tommy podcast he said ‘-‘ (Subtraction) will be the last album to carry mathematical symbols. It is expected to be released later this year. The first part of Sheeran’s Mathematical Tour will end on September 25 in Frankfurt, Germany and the second leg will commence on February 10, 2023 and end on March 12 in Perth, Australia.
