EDEX Hybrid Expo to reach out to all of Sri Lanka with cutting edge technology

EDEX, Sri Lanka’s premier and pioneering education and careers exhibition, will once again take centre stage as it hold its 18th edition on March 26 and 27, offering not only a physical expo at Royal MAS Arena but also a virtual expo for students from all across Sri Lanka to connect and explore the choices, options and opportunit­ies EDEX has to offer.

Leveraging on cutting edge technology, the virtual expo, will offer a futuristic experience for students to explore their educationa­l and career choices from the comfort and safety of their homes.

Commenting on the EDEX Hybrid Expo, Chairman of EDEX Mahinda Galagedera said “In a day and age in which virtual technology has taken precedence over physical settings, thanks to countless virtual meetings, virtual events and online learning, we have seen how successful virtual technology has been in not only bringing convenienc­e to our lives, but also contributi­ng towards sustainabi­lity. EDEX has partnered with Indian based prominent and experience­d technology service provider ‘Floor’, who has conducted several successful virtual events across the globe including in Sri Lanka.

Built on the state of the art software-as-a-service platform, Floor’s virtual solution enables one- to- one, one- to- many and many- to- many interactio­ns and is fully compatible with PCs, laptops, tabs and mobile devices without requiring to download any app. EDEX virtual stall holders will have access to audio visual rooms to connect to students, while also being able to publish videos, statics ads, course contents and promotions in the virtual stall space.
