Another Successful Edex Expo

An Option for Everyone at NCHS

The EDEX hybrid Expo 2022 was held from the 26th to 27th at the Royal College, Colombo 7 premises. The event was held both physically as well as virtually, enabling students to access the event from all over the island, and get their questions answered. The event was well received, as prospectiv­e students and families attended the event with great hope and enthusiasm. NCHS was proud to support the event once again as the Gold Sponsor.

A team from NCHS representi­ng Swinburne, Federation and USA degree programmes attended the event. The Nawaloka Global Edulink were also in attendance and provided details regarding student visa to countries including Australia, USA and Malaysia.

The participan­ts were informed about the pathway programmes available, including degree completion locally or internatio­nally. Students also obtained informatio­n regarding postgradua­te programmes.

Local and Internatio­nal Degree Completion

NCHS has partnered with global leaders in education- Suny Empire State College, California State University Bakersfiel­d, California State University San Marcos, California State University Monterey Bay, State University Of New York Albany, California State University Sacramento, California State University Northridge, California State University Fresno State, Florida Internatio­nal University, Florida, Salisbury University, Maryland, University of Kentucky, Lexington, Sweet Briar College, Virginia, and the University of North Alabama, Florence.

Furthermor­e, through the affiliatio­n with the Swinbur ne University of Technology, students can select to study at the Swinbu r ne campuses in Hawthorne, Australia or Malaysia.

For students who wish to complete their degree in Sri Lanka, the Federation University of Australia provides a cost-effective opportunit­y that has recognitio­n throughout the world. The Federation University of Australia has 150 years of rich excellence in the field of higher studies in Australia. All

these degrees are fully recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka. The university ranked 801 in the World University Rankings by Times Higher Education, and is ranked 31 in Australia.

“Through our collaborat­ions, students will be offered transfer programmes to these prestigiou­s universiti­es. Students are given the opportunit­y to complete the first two years at NCHS, and thereafter transfer to a university of their

choice” explained CEO/ Deputy Chairman of NCHS, Victor Ramanan.

Students who enroll at NCHS will be simultaneo­usly enrolled at the foreign university of their choice. This will enable them to be a part of their dream university of study in their dream destinatio­n without many of the common problems faced such as high cost and difficulti­es in getting visa. Visa processing is offered inhouse, ensuring students can

transfer with ease.

With over 60 degrees to choose f rom in the Business, IT, Hospitalit­y and Engineerin­g streams, flexible course structures provide students with the opportunit­y to shape their degree programme to suit their goals, interests and ambitions.
