Sir Paul McCartney’s chil dhood home to be opened to aspiring musicians

The childhood home of Sir Paul McCartney is set to be opened to aspiring musicians who write and perform during the Forthline Sessions organised by the property owners, the National Trust. It is part of the celebrations to mark Sir Paul’s 80th birthday on June 17. It will also mark 60 years since the Beatles were formed at 20 Forthlin Road, Allerton, where several Beatles classics were penned by Paul McCartney and John Lennon.
