Harry Styles takes the No: 1 spot on the UK charts

Harry Styles was projected to take the pole position on the UK singles chart with his new song ‘As It Was’. The projection proved right. ‘As It Was’ debuted straight at No: 1 to give the 28-year-old his second career solo chart topping song in the UK. ‘As It Was’ achieved its goal with 94,000 chart sales, including 10.5 million streams. The single became the biggest performing No: 1 song in the first week of release for 2022. ‘As It Was’ a pop track which seems to be inspired by A-Ha’s ‘Lean On Me’ if one listens to it carefully, is the debut release from Style’s forthcoming second solo album ‘Harry’s House’. ‘As It Was’ is the only new entry to appear on the UK singles top 10 this week.
