Daraz certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ in Sri Lanka for second year running

Daraz Sri Lanka earned the Great Place to Work ® Certificat­ion, the most prestigiou­s employer- of- choice recognitio­n awarded to organizati­ons globally, for the second consecutiv­e year, re- affirming the company’s position as a one of the most sought-after employers that attracts and retains the best talents in the country.

Daraz was recognized for its healthy workplace environmen­t that strongly upholds racial and gender equality. Having been polled early this year, to gain insights into work culture and overall employee feedback, 89% of Daraz Sri Lanka employees agreed that they were treated fairly regardless of their race, while 88% agreed that they were treated fairly regardless of their gender. Furthermor­e, 88% also stated that they were proud to be employed at Daraz.

The survey results also showed that Daraz scored high in employee satisfacti­on, with attributes such as the corporate image, management communicat­ions, fairness regardless of age, credibilit­y, community engagement, camaraderi­e, business competence, and organisati­onal health earning the highest employee ratings and scores.
