Summer Season Open from today

The Summer Season Open Badminton Tournament organised by the Central Province Badminton Association under the auspices of the Sri Lanka Badminton Association, will begin today in Nuwara Eliya.

The tournament, which will be held in conjunction with the Nuwara Eliya Spring Season, will take place at the Nuwara Eliya Municipal Indoor Stadium

and conclude on April 30. The tournament will see events being conducted under a number of age groups and categories, ranging from Under-13 to 19 in junior age groups and senior categories from Under-30 to 60. Shuttlers will compete in nearly 40 singles, doubles and doubles category events this year.
