Jaffna Central prevailed over arch rivals St. John’s Jaffna by 11 runs in their 19th Limited Over encounter played at St. John’s ground in Jaffna yesterday. Batting first Jaffna Central made a modest score of 229 runs and St. John’s in their run chase, despite an unbeaten 75 from Nesakumar Ebenezer, were restricted for 218 for the loss of nine wickets.
