EXcubed wins coveted UK Financial Services Tech Award

-

EXcubed, a provider of business-led technology solutions in fund management, received the award for Digital Transformation Project of the Year at the UK FSTech Awards 2022 in London. The award was received for the customisation of EXcubed’s proprietary platform to digitalise complex institutional investment services for Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM), the largest fund manager in the UK. EXcubed competed with many global giants in the field of financial services and information technology to win this award.

The UK FSTech Awards are highly sought-after in the industry as they celebrate excellence and innovation within the UK and EMEA financial services sector. In addition to winning the Digital Transformation Project of the Year award, EXcubed was also a finalist in three other categories.

The platform, built by EXcubed’s software development team in Sri Lanka, uses cutting- edge technology to combine in- depth practical knowledge of the global fund management industry’s operations and challenges, with innovative design and a flexible and modular platform architecture. The need for digitalisation in the fund management industry became more acute due to the Covid19 pandemic. The Excubed platform enabled LGIM to fast-track the digitalisation of their processes in order to sustain their competitiveness in the post-pandemic world.

Commenting on the award, Rohan Perera, Chief Technology Officer of EXcubed stated, ‘ We are both humbled and ecstatic to receive this prestigious award. Our unique operational model which focuses on bringing together talented individuals, leading partners, and resources has helped us create value for our clients and surpass global giants in the field of technology and fund management. We are confident that this award will help us grow and achieve further success in the future.’
