California State University, Monterey Bay

Monterey Bay is on the central coast of California, just two hours south of San Francisco. The bay itself is one of the largest marine protected areas in the world and home to whales, deep sea anglerfish, and the university mascot, sea otters. California State University, Bakersfiel­d

California State University, Sacramento

Located in Sacramento, California, the state capital, the campus is located on the banks of the American River. Sacramento is home to various museums, including the California Railroad Museum. The Sierra Nevada is just a short drive away, and the Pacific Ocean can be reached in about two hours. Sacramento is one of the most historic areas of the State of California. The plaza is bookended by the 1800s New York State Capitol and the New York State Museum, focusing on natural and cultural history.

Sweet Briar College

Sweet Briar is known for its campus with its historic Georgian Revival architectu­re by Ralph Adams Cram. The College is situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia about 10 miles from the Appalachia­n Trail and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The University of Kentucky is spread between three distinct campuses: north, south, and central. The state’s largest city, Louisville, is home to the Kentucky Derby, the renowned horse race held at Churchill Downs on the first Saturday in May.

University Salisbury
