Practical Education and Learning Excursions at NCHS

Visit to the Museum of Modern and Contempora­ry Art Sri Lanka

After being constricte­d to online education and interactio­ns, the students of the USA programmes at NCHS eagerly awaited their physical learning excursion to the Museum of Modern and Contempora­ry Art, Sri Lanka.

A part of the module ‘Art History – The Modern World’, 34 young scholars were enthralled with the displays and informatio­n available. The Museum of Modern and Contempora­ry Art Sri Lanka is an education-led initiative that aims to establish a public museum dedicated to the display, research, collection and conservati­on of modern and contempora­ry art.
