In this visit, GISM President met the Vice-Chancellor Professor Jan Thomas at her office in Palmerstone North and discussed further advancements of the collaboration to offer more education and research pathways for Sri Lankan students.

Opportunities for both Advanced and Ordinary Level Students
Students who have completed G. C. E A/ L in Local/ Cambridge/ Edexcel and obtained three Credit passes can directly enter to Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), Construction and Bioscience degree while students with a minimum of three Simple passes can directly enter Business, IT, and other degrees. Such students who do not meet the above entry requirements can complete the Foundation 2 at the GISM campus and then enter the first year of the
degree pathway programme at GISM heading towards the last two years in New Zealand.
Students with G.C.E O/L in Local/ Cambridge/ Edexcel results can enter into the degree pathway by completing Foundation 1 & 2 and then join the first-year degree pathway programme. An opportunity is available now for the O/L students to enter pending results through a selection test followed by an interview at GISM Campus. Through all of these entries, parents can save over Rs. 8.0 Million for each year that the child studying in Sri Lanka. Finally, on completion of remaining part, the student received the degree from Massey University which is a well-recognised qualification.
Opportunities for Graduates - Masters Pathways
GISM offers postgraduate Diploma i n Constr uction Pro j e c t Management, QS, Construction Law, and Bioscience areas for the students to go to New Zealand and complete the Master’s Degree in one year at Massey University.
