195 graduate at CA Sri Lanka Business School convocatio­n with masters, postgradua­te diplomas and executive diplomas

The Business School of the Institute of Chartered Accountant­s of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) which is among the most recognised Business Schools in the country, recently organised its convocatio­n where 195 students received their graduation in a range of specialisa­tions.

The CA Business School which conducts a multitude of locally and globally recognised qualificat­ions for the progressio­n of accounting and non-accounting profession­als, conferred the Master of Business Administra­tion (MBA) from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) Australia to 115 students, apart from 65 students receiving their Postgradua­te Diploma in Business Finance and Strategy and another 15 students receiving the Executive Diploma in Accounting, Business and Strategy.

The convocatio­n was held under the patronage of Prof. Ren Yi, Pro Vice- Chancellor (Internatio­nal) of the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, Mr. Sanjaya Bandara, President of CA Sri Lanka, Mr. Heshana Kuruppu, Vice President of CA Sri Lanka, Mr. Laknath Jayawickra­ma, Chairman of the Business School and Ms. Dulani Fernando, Chief Executive Officer of CA Sri Lanka.

The USQ MBA is one of the most sought-after master’s degree programmes in the country and has been well received from profession­als including business leaders. The 12-module USQ MBA is known to deliver an exceptiona­l learning experience which helps develop strategic leaders. The MBA which has been conducted for over 16 years in Sri Lanka enjoys an alumnus of over 800, ranging from corporate leaders to c- suite executives and experts in contempora­ry business management. The USQ MBA also offers a range of exemptions for CA Sri Lanka members

The Postgradua­te Diploma in Business Finance and Strategy offered by the CA Business School has been designed for mid- level management to build diligent business leaders while equipping them with the strategic skills to improve business execution. The postgradua­te diploma also provides a direct pathway to the USQ MBA with exemptions.

The Executive Diploma in Business, Accounting and Strategy provides an understand­ing of how businesses can achieve sustainabl­e competitiv­e advantages and high performanc­e to the corporate executives and business entreprene­urs. It also offers a direct pathway for students to follow the Postgradua­te Diploma offered by the CA Business School.
