Multi-faceted young singing sensation Mario Ananda Abeykoon, the son of late Gratien Ananda, launched his newest song ‘Dream it On’ last week. But the focus of this song is totally different to the rest of his hits.

This tribute song produced to honour the services of ‘Beauticians’ around the world, perhaps is the first of its kind in the world. Further to an invitation extended by Kishu Gomes, this song and visual is created by Mario Ananda Productions.

As many other songs by Mario, the song ‘Dream it On’ also has a Sinhala and an English version. The English lyrics, music direction and vocals for both versions are by Mario Ananda, while the Sinhala lyrics were penned by an 18 year old Malindu Mihisara Pradinath.

The international launch of the audio, on Spotify and I tunes and and also under ‘Arnuka Global’ record label was held on Friday, 5th August and the music video will be released on ‘Mario Ananda YouTube channel’ titled ‘Dream it On’ on 8th of August, as a tribute for all beauticians.

‘Actually to create a tribute song for beauticians is an idea forwarded by Kishu Gomes sometimes back and I was toying with the idea for a new song. Finally ‘Dream it On’ was born and the music video will be released on YouTube tomorrow. I invite, along with my production team and Kishu Gomes, all my fans to witness this international standard production, not forgetting all the beauticians in Sri Lanka’ said Mario Ananda.

The concept, script, Visual Direction, creative editing of the music video for ‘Dream it On’ are by Mario Ananda. The director of photography is by ‘Mario Ananda Productions’. The camera was headed by Nevinda Jayasena, while makeup was handled by Yogitha Rathnayaka of ‘Mario Ananda Productions’. Assistant Director of the production is Dulanjali Ananda, CEO of ‘Mario Ananda Productions’.

‘Mario Ananda YouTube Channel’ was launched in April last year along

with his new sports related song ‘Living on the Edge’ (English) / ‘Randee Nosali’ (Sinhala).

Mario Ananda Abeykoon came up with ‘Living on the Edge’ song to uplift the sports aspect of the country. He has been engaged in many social services related to children, such as voicing against drugs, alcoholism, smoking, suicide, child labour and child abuse. His song ‘Living on the Edge’ was created to redefine teenage and sportsmanship.

He believes that sports can help any child to overcome their tragic life styles. Putting focus into sports can build the personality, mindfulness and good health, which is crucial for a person in any age to achieve any goal in life.
