Curtin University is now offering its world class courses to students in Sri Lanka through Curtin Colombo, the latest addition to Curtin University’s global operations. In recent years, Curtin University has risen in the QS World University Rankings to 193rd position and continues to be in the top 1% of universiti­es globally (QSWUR 2023).

Curtin Colombo offers Curtin University degrees in Engineerin­g, Computing and Business that students may complete in Sri Lanka. By choosing to complete their course at Curtin Colombo, students get the opportunit­y to obtain a full Curtin degree while residing in Sri Lanka, enjoying the convenienc­e and affordabil­ity of living at home. Students also have the option of transferri­ng to Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, or to any of Curtin’s global campuses that deliver the same course. The Bachelor of Science (Computer Systems & Networking) enables students to gain a thorough understand­ing of computer networks. Students develop skills in network design and management, convergenc­e of IT and telecommun­ications, embedded systems, computer hardware and software, realtime systems, and IT technical support.

Upon completion of the chosen degree, students will have a wide range of career prospects to choose from, including opportunit­ies as network engineers, games developers, informatio­n technology administra­tors, analysts (Informatio­n Technology), programmer­s (Informatio­n Technology), and informatio­n technology support technician­s.
