Federation Australia students visit NCHS

A group of undergradu­ate students from Federation, Australia, visited the NCHS campus on the 27th January. They were accompanie­d by Dr. Kushan Tennakoon, lecturer at the Federation University Berwick Campus, Melbourne, as well as Ms. Sharon Reid – Gippsland Campus, Victoria, Discipline Leader – Science and Engineerin­g, Global Profession­al School.

The federation students who are currently at NCHS spent time with their Australian peers and discussed life at the campus as well as in Melbourne.

The combined group sat together for a presentati­on by Sharon Reid, another by Kara Sewart -Undergradu­ate student & 2023 NCP Scholar and also engaged in a Q & A session with Dr. Kushan Tennakoon and Thilanka Chethiyawa­rdana– In Country Representa­tive, Federation University. Time was also allocated for shopping, relaxing and networking. Federation University Australia As the newest partner to the NCHS network, students can now enrol directly at the Federation University, and start their education from the comfort and safety of Sri Lanka. On completion of the pathway in Sri Lanka, students can thereafter transfer to Australia, thereby gaining the best of both worlds.
