SLTC Study Abroad Expo and International University Day

19th February @ the One Galle Face

-

The SLTC Study Abroad Expo and International University Day will be held on Sunday 19th February from 10.00 am at the One Galle Face, Colombo, with the participation of representatives from Top Universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, and India.

In addition to SLTC’s own programmes, SLTC offers transfer pathways for several undergraduate programmes in partnership with University of Lancaster in the UK, RMIT and Deakin Universities in Australia, University of Auckland in New Zealand, and the Modul University in Austria. SLTC also offers postgraduate programmes in partnership with IITM in India and Liverpool John Moores University in the UK.

The event will provide the opportunity to meet with representatives of each university and learn about the degree programmes, scholarships and financial aid, research and career opportunities available for international students at the respective universities. This will also be an opportunity to meet the faculty and the enrollment team at SLTC and learn about the admission process, the transfer pathway and submit an application for the March intake that is currently underway.

The undergraduate transfer pathways are currently available for several degrees in Engineering, Technology, IT, Software Engineering and Tourism with a considerable financial advantage to Students. SLTC recently introduced an exclusive foundation programme for students who wish to begin their undergraduate studies after O/Ls. Accordingly, students who have successfully completed their O/Ls can now begin their foundation studies at SLTC and be admitted to an undergraduate degree programme at the Deakin University in Australia.

Study International at ½ the cost!

Save 50% of the regular international course fee with SLTC International Transfer Pathways!

The transfer pathways at SLTC enables students to study the first two years in Sri Lanka at the cost of a locally awarded degree and transfer to one of SLTC’s partner universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, or Austria. Many top universities in these countries have recognised the curricula taught at SLTC, quality of teaching and learning along with research and innovation activities as equivalent to their own, enabling students of SLTC to transfer to these universities mid-programme and continue their studies without a hindrance.

While receiving a global education and graduating from a Top International university, the students who take the SLTC transfer pathway also receive a considerable cost advantage. Throughout their studies at SLTC, the transfer students will pay the same tuition fee as would any undergraduate who studies for the locally awarded degree programme, saving them thousands of dollars in tuition fees. The international student tuition rates will apply to these students strictly for the period of study they undertake at the university they transfer to.

The SLTC transfer pathway also helps students save the living costs and other expenses of two years by enabling them to study the first two years in Sri Lanka. They are also welcome to use SLTC’s own residential facilities or commute from home if they so desire.

SLTC extends an open invitation to all who would wish to learn more about the undergraduate and postgraduate studies at SLTC, international transfer pathways, financial support and scholarships, to visit the expo on the 19th of February from 10.00 am onwards at the One Galle Face Mall in Colombo.
