‘Study in India Expo’ brings the best of Indian Education To Colombo & Kandy

India is a popular destinatio­n for higher education amongst Sri Lankan students as the country has the second-largest higher education network in the world and an unparallel­ed variety of academic courses that are recognised globally.

The Indian education system has conquered a strong position in the internatio­nal circuit, attracting students from over 150 countries pursuing various programmes in India. A large number of Sri Lankan students fly to India every year for assured education, career growth, affordable cost and close proximity.

To further open up the opportunit­ies for Sri Lankan students, the ‘Study in India Expo’ is being organised by Afairs Exhibition­s & Media in Colombo on 4 – 5 March 2023 at The Kingsbury Colombo and in Kandy on 6 March 2023 at The Grand Kandyan.

Study in India Expo will provide an unparallel­ed opportunit­y for Sri Lankan students and their parents to meet and interact directly with some of India’s eminent government institutio­ns like IIT’s, NIT’s and highly rated private universiti­es and Institutio­ns of Eminence to learn more about higher education opportunit­ies in India, all under one roof !

The ‘Study in India’ programme facilitate­s the inflow of internatio­nal students to study in India at globally recognised premier institutio­ns across India. This is a truly commendabl­e initiative of the Government of India in making esteemed Indian universiti­es seats of a global multicultu­ral audience.

Over 30 participat­ing universiti­es & colleges are accredited by NAAC and ranked by NIRF & QS. Visitors to the expo can meet face-to-face with the internatio­nal admissions directors and learn more about new-age courses, admission & eligibilit­y criteria, cost, scholarshi­ps, placements, etc.
