The event introduced its innovative and digitized online educational exhibition, marking its presence in March of ‘22 with a Hybrid Expo, for the first time in Sri Lanka. The digital event experience provided by EDEX was offered to the local youth amid the Covid pandemic and fuel crisis. EDEX continuously invested time, funds, and effort towards taking the educational exhibition sector to the next level.

The Edex Entrepreneurship unit launched the “Entrepreneurs Club” parallel to the EDEX Expo 2023, with the vision of bridging a critical gap in Sri Lankan society. The initiative brought together budding entrepreneurs from all across the country. A series of sessions were conducted by prominent and experienced entrepreneurs of the country, to collaboratively guide and shape the business propositions of young entrepreneurs towards success.

The event featured many other unique and exciting features, including a Gaming Zone, a Nanapahana stall, where visitors could donate books to be given to needy students in rural schools all over the island. There was also a Sustainability Quiz competition organised by Edex - Think Green and the handing over of certificates to the winning entries of the EDEX Sithuwam Art Competition.
