Mr. Bradley Emerson, Executive Director/Chief Executive commenting on the event said, “This year the theme of the convocation was ‘Win’ which believe is appropriate as Sri Lanka now is a lost nation. As a nation fails, a country economically contracts, the sovereign rating gets downgraded, the national currency continues to lose value, and the assets you hold depreciate faster, the only asset that will prevail is the human asset. Even though every human has the potential to be an asset, history has shown us the opposite. The strength of a nation is no longer valued by its populations, natural resources or the landmass, but rather by the collective intellectual capacity of its people. It is therefore mandatory that the graduates who pass out from over a hundred private and public universities, ensure that their learning is reflected in the national balance sheet.”

The Imperial Institute of Higher Education is proud to announce that the Class of 2022 achieved outstanding results, with many graduates receiving academic awards, including 25 Gold Medalists, and the valedictorian of the event was Mr. Ikram Abdeen. The institute also celebrated the diversity of its student body, with graduates from various regions of Sri Lanka and from countries around the world.

The graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone in the lives of the Class of 2022, who are now ready to embark on new careers and pursue further studies. The Imperial Institute of Higher Education wishes them every success in their future endeavors and congratulates them on their achievements.
