Thisara’s ton in vain at 5th Sea Gulls Battle

A quick-fire ton off 75 balls with nine boundaries and five sixes by Thisara Madushan of St. Sebastian’s Katuneriya against St. Peter’s Negombo was the highlight of the 5th Battle of the Sea Gulls big match which was called off due to heavy rains at Katuneriya. Rain denies Puthukkudiyiruppu Central win at inaugural Battle of Vanni

Rain prevented Puthukkudiyiruppu Central from pulling off victory against Kilinochchi MV in the inaugural ‘Battle of Vanni’ big match played at the Kilinochchi MV ground in Vavuniya. The low scoring match saw Kilinochchi MV dominating on day one but Puthukkudiyiruppu Central came back with vengeance thanks to openers Y. Patrick and S. Niruksan who both cracked half tons.
